Submission

Authors are invited to submit the full paper in English through EDAS. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a review process for acceptance decision. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to give an oral presentation at the conference and the manuscript will be published in the conference proceeding.

Paper Format: Papers submitted for this conference should be between 5-8 pages (maximum 8) of text including figures and possible references. Any paper with more than 8 pages will be charged $50/page. The authors are responsible to ensure that the submitted papers are in the correct styles, fonts, etc as stated in template format.

Authors follow the EDAS submission process to submit manuscripts. The article format must adhere to the given template. Please note that by submitting manuscripts, authors agree to reformat their articles to the newest submission template when changes in the manuscript submission template occur. Editor-in-chief approves manuscripts submitted to the conference after plagiarism check with a maximum allowed similarity of 25%. After that, a formal blind peer review process is conducted in collaboration with editorial board members and independent referees worldwide. Each manuscript will be assessed using a single-blind review by three reviewers. The time allotted for the review process will be one month in maximum. Manuscripts with minor and significant revisions will be accepted, provided the manuscript is aligned with the aim and scope of the conference. The decision about the article acceptance is entirely at the reviewers' discretion. Authors must revise their accepted manuscripts according to the inputs from reviewers. The time allotted for authors to submit their manuscript revisions will be two weeks in maximum. The initial reviewers will review the revised manuscripts. A list of reviewers and their affiliations can be seen on this page.

ICOMIT enforces a no-show policy. Any paper accepted to the conference and included in the final program is expected to be presented at the conference during its scheduled presentation date and time by one of the paper's authors. The author(s) of any paper which is not presented but completed final submission and is added to the final conference program will be subscribed to the no-show list compiled by ICOMIT. The list of no-shows will be made available to all FILKOM Conference organizers for no less than two years, and said organizers might reject submissions from authors included on the no-show list.

Should a circumstance arise where none of the listed authors can present the paper at the conference, it is the responsibility of the corresponding author to submit a substitute/absentee case to the ICOMIT executive office documenting the reason for the absence via email (icomit@ub.ac.id). Cases of this nature will be reviewed on their merits, and supporting documentation may be required.

In the event of a situation where none of the listed policies have been regulated, the ICOMIT executive office will immediately convene an internal meeting to take a decision to support the smooth running of the conference.
